In October 2018, Akzo Nobels's Speciality Chemicals division separated from its parent company AkzoNobel and started operating as an independent company under the new name Nouryon, with the aim of further strengthening its position as world market leader in specialty chemicals.
The strategy: We accompanied the Nouryon launch with comprehensive internal and external change communication. Through internal communication, social media and media relations, we position Nouryon as a young company with a long tradition and an international leader in its field.
The result: A successful global market leader with 400 years of tradition, whose specialty chemicals are indispensable for the manufacture of everyday products - this is how Nouryon is perceived by its relevant stakeholders. The more than 10,000 employees identify with the new image and are proud of their company.
